AUXILOCK BioBraid range for arthroscopy includes wide range of BioBraid suture, BioBraid Infinity Loop, and BioBraid Suture Tape. The BioBraid is made from UHMWPE and is a non-absorbable, braided, sterile, surgical suture. This suture has constructed of a multi-strand, long-chain ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. They are extremely strong, flexible and soft. It minimizes tissue inflammation and irritation in the application. AUXILOCK® Biobraid Sutures
AUXILOCK® BioBraid Sutures are braided sterile sutures prepared from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE). They can be used in soft tissue approximations along with allograft tissues in arthroscopy procedures. BioBraid sutures are non-absorbable and do not impose any significant changes in tensile strength retention known to occur in vivo. BioBraid sutures are available in a variety of colour combinations for easy suture management in complicated repairs.
AUXILOCK® Biobraid Infinity Loop Needle
AUXILOCK® BioBraid Infinity Loop is a continuous loop of BioBraid with a straight needle. BioBraid Infinity Loop utilises the whipstitch technique for graft preparation and reduces the time spent. It also compresses the graft uniformly and improves strength.
AUXILOCK® Biobraid Suture Tape
AUXILOCK® BioBraid Suture Tape made from UHMWPE. The suture tape design accommodates the tape in the centre with a suture on the either sides of the tape.The broad footprint of the BioBraid Suture Tape is appropriate for repairs in degenerative cuff tissue where tissue pull-through may be a concern.
